Patience lives with her mother, father, and three older brothers. Her father, who works as a motorcycle courier, is the family’s breadwinner. Her oldest brother is in high school, and her younger twin brothers also attend Kavumu School. Patience walks 4 km to and from school every day. Their home has electricity and running water. Her favorite subjects are English and math, and when she grows up, she wants to be a school principal. Her teachers consider her exceptionally talented, which is why they are recommending her for the program.
