Orga lives with her grandmother, uncle, and brother. Her parents are unemployed and do not live with the children. Her brother also attends Kavumu School. The grandmother supports the family. In addition to her studies, Orga has many chores at home; she regularly cleans, sweeps, and fetches water from the well, since they do not have running water. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher. She was recommended for the program because of her family’s poverty and her outstanding academic performance.
