During the GearUp! project, we will create a workshop open to the public with a dual profile:
- Recycling community sewing workshop: sewing workshops where participants can learn how to breathe new life into their old clothes. They can also have their clothes refurbished by a professional seamstress or purchase Hint of Africa's redesigned products.
- Organizing workshops with invited guests: global education, raising social awareness by promoting sustainable fashion. Interested young people can learn about different life paths, women's and social issues, meet inspiring role models, and broaden their horizons. In line with the foundation's profile, we present African topics, everyday life, cultural differences, and issues affecting African women, which can help participants gain a better understanding of their own situation.
