We participated in the “One bite of Africa/ Egy falat Afrika” event.
Exciting presentations by various organisations working on Africa and by professionals and volunteers who have visited Africa. Participants had the opportunity to buy African-themed books and gifts to support the work and programmes of a particular foundation.
The Close to Africa Foundation was represented in the wide range of activities! We made a presentation about Rwanda and organised a community fashion show of new pieces from Hint of Africa collection. Hint of Africa – Egy csipetnyi Afrika új darabjaiból. Bemutatta a tavaszi kollekciónkat! A modellek a közönségből és a önkéntesekből kerültek ki és fantasztikusan megállták a helyüket.
n the buffet, visitors could taste African foods, prepared by volunteers! The organisers had a special children's programme, and thanks to the good weather, it was a real summer outdoors programme of interactive storytelling activities and arts and crafts. Music and dance sessions led by African musicians were accompanied by huge laughs.
