Queen is a 15-year-old girl living in very poor conditions. Her father passed away five years ago while he was abroad. Her mother, who completed just one year of high school, is the sole provider for the family. She tries to support her four children through farming, growing beans, cassava, and potatoes. Queen has three younger sisters in primary school: Vanessa (12), Inèse (10), and Berinisse (9). Queen is an excellent student, scoring 78.5% on her mid-year exams, with her highest marks in chemistry and biology. Her school is 2 km from home, about an hour's walk. Every day after school, she brings water home from a nearby well. Their home has electricity, which the government provides for them. In her free time, Queen loves playing soccer.
