Nadjati lives with her mother and younger sister. Her mother is the breadwinner, but unfortunately she does not have a steady job. Their house has no electricity, so in the evenings, the little girl studies by candlelight. They fetch water from a well 500 meters away. Nadjati hopes she will be able to finish her studies and one day become a teacher herself. She was recommended for the program because of her outstanding abilities.
