Prisca was born in 2010. Five people live together in their household: her parents, a brother and a sister. Her parents are healthy, but neither of them works, and we don’t know how they support their children. Her younger brother is 14, and her older sister is 20; she works as an accountant. They live 12 km from the school. Their house has electricity, but they fetch water from a well half an hour away. Prisca helps with the housework—she cooks, does laundry, fetches water, and gathers firewood.

Prisca was at the top of her class last year, with a 72% grade. She loves to study; her favorite subject is French, and she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She hopes to graduate from high school with good grades.
